This quilt got its name because of the light and dark knots created by the placement of strong color in the off-center blocks. We all know it takes two to tie the knot at the altar and because there are two knots in this quilt it got the name the Lover’s knot. This is a great design for beginners using the Log Cabin template set. Shar will also show how to quilt the design to add definition to the knots.
