Broderie Anglaise is one of the newest embroidery techniques. Connie Palmer shows how she used this technique on the sashing strips of her heirloom pillow. She used two fabrics and lace insertion to create pieced fabric. The fabric strip is cut with fan templates. The fan is pieced and then finished with edging lace. Connie demonstrates how easy it is to make scalloped puffing. A great marriage of quilting and heirloom sewing.
